You can cancel your service at any time, with no penalty, through your Secure Client Portal. Cancellations submitted at least 48 hours before your next billing date stop your next charge. Cancellations submitted within 48 hours of your billing date will take effect after that billing cycle ends.
1. Your Right to Cancel
You may cancel your service agreement with The Credit Connect LLC at any time, for any reason, without penalty. Your federal three-day right to cancel under the Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA) always applies — see our Refund Policy for details on three-day cancellations and refunds.
2. How to Cancel
The fastest and most reliable way to cancel is through your Secure Client Portal:
🔒 Self-Service Cancellation
Log in at secureclientaccess.com → navigate to your account settings → select Cancel Service.
You'll receive an automatic confirmation email when your cancellation is processed.
If you're unable to access your portal, you may also cancel by emailing support@getcreditconnect.com from the email address on file. Include your full name and your account email so we can locate your record.
3. The 48-Hour Rule
Because billing runs on automated cycles, cancellation timing matters:
- Cancel at least 48 hours before your next billing date → your next charge is stopped. You won't be billed again.
- Cancel within 48 hours of your next billing date → your next billing cycle will still process, and your cancellation takes effect at the end of that cycle. This is because dispute work for the upcoming month is already queued and in progress at that point.
Your next billing date is always visible in your Secure Client Portal under your account details. If you're unsure when your next charge will hit, log in and check before submitting your cancellation.
4. What Happens When You Cancel
Once your cancellation takes effect:
- Your monthly billing stops
- No new dispute rounds will be initiated
- Disputes already submitted and in flight with the bureaus or furnishers will continue to run their statutory course (you should still receive results from those open disputes by mail)
- Your account is marked inactive in our system
- Your case file and records are retained per our Privacy Policy for legal-compliance and recordkeeping purposes
- You retain access to your Secure Client Portal for at least 30 days after cancellation so you can download your dispute history and results
5. Refunds on Cancellation
Cancellation alone does not automatically entitle you to a refund of fees already paid. Refund eligibility is governed by our Refund Policy, including the 3-day cancellation right and the 90-day zero-deletion performance guarantee.
6. One-Time Plans (4-Month, 6-Month, Business Credit Pro)
If you're enrolled in one of our flat-fee, one-time plans (rather than a monthly recurring plan), cancellation works differently:
- You may cancel work at any time
- Because these plans are billed as a single fee for a defined scope of work, refund eligibility is governed by Section 3 of our Refund Policy (the 3-day cancellation right and the performance guarantee)
- Cancelling does not extend the plan period or pause the work timeline
7. Restarting Service After Cancellation
If you cancel and later want to resume, you're welcome to come back. However:
- Your previous progress is preserved in your file but a new service agreement will be required
- Pricing may differ from your prior enrollment if our plans have changed
- Promotional or grandfathered pricing from your prior enrollment does not automatically reinstate
8. Termination by The Credit Connect
We reserve the right to terminate a service agreement, with or without notice, in cases of:
- Failure to pay or repeated declined payments
- Submission of fraudulent or materially false information
- Use of our services in violation of federal or state law
- Initiation of chargebacks without first contacting us in good faith (see Refund Policy § 5)
- Abusive, threatening, or harassing conduct toward our team
- Breach of any term of our Terms & Conditions
If we terminate your account, we will provide written notice of the reason and any outstanding obligations.

You always have the right to cancel any credit-repair service agreement within 3 business days of signing, for any reason, with a full refund — this is a federal right under CROA that no policy can take away.
